The SLU Club of Methodist College is run by the committee comprising of;

Its Objective is to help in some way to unite the youth of all ethics and religious groups in a movement which provides hope and promotes reconciliation.
Activities for this year- We visit 4 orphanages that are religious based on 4 days of the week.
Special event planned for this year- A cultural programme that will comprise of students from Methodist college, Sangamila Vidyalaya, Galle and children from the orphanages.
Achievements-
At the SLU conference 2010;
- Best student exchange programme ( December 2010 with Vembadi Girls’ School, Jaffna.
-Best essay on reconciliation
-Best work of art
After a destructive war our nation is at a point where it needs the help of its people the most. It’s our duty as Sri Lankans to do everything in our capacity to lift up our nation and reconcile the divided communities.
