1st Vietnam International Choir Festival

We are honoured to announce that the MC choir is competing at the 1st Vietnam International Choir Festival from 16th to 20th March 2011. Mr. Sanjeeva Jayaratnam of Revelations is the Choir Director.

Update from the Principal:

I am very grateful to the Past Pupils’ Association of Victoria and the UK Alumni for co-sponsoring the brunt of the expenses by the contributions of Rs.300,000/- and GBP 2850 respectively. MAS Active came forward with a contribution of Rs.100,000/- and Union Bank and HSBC Rs. 10,000/- each. Since my last update on 9/2, an Old Girl has come forward to sponsor the balance airfare, and the costumes have more or less been covered. It was lovely to hear from many Old Girls who heard about this and contributed individually.

Finally, we seek your prayers for safety in travel and for a performance there that will bring honour to our school, to our country, and to God who gifted them with these voices.
