Table tennis
Table Tennis practices are held every Monday and Thursday of each week after school hours in the upper school premises.
The students are trained by Mr.Lalith Priyantha and Mr.Azmi at the college’s table tennis practice area.
The Metho Table Tennis Team is captained by Umeshani Wickramanayake.
The Table Tennis team emerged as Semifinalists in the D Division The team was also the Group’s Runners-up Hasini Wijesinghe, Peshala Fernando, Lavinia Samarakody and Emanthie Peter represented the school in the All Island Championships and emerged as the C Division Runners Up Inter House Table Tennis Tournament
The Doubles of the Inter House Table tennis tournament was held on Thursday the 27th of October 2011.
- Peshala Fernando and Umeshani Wickramanayake of Scott House emerged as the Over 15 Champions with Shire House emerging as the runner- up.
- Shevoni Joseph and Rachel Gay of Shire House emerged as the Under 15 Champions while Scott House was the runner- up.
The Singles of the Inter House Table tennis tournament was held on Monday the 24th of October 2011.
- Hasini Wijesinghe of Park House emerged as the Over 15 Champion with Peshala Fernando of Scott House emerging as the runner- up.
- Ikshani Wickramanayake of Scott House emerged as the Under 15 Champion while Shevoni Joseph of Shire House was the runner- up.
